Divorce + Family Law

Mr. House was so great to work with ... he was comforting with me, but aggressive in helping me to reach my goals and get through the situation. He was knowledgeable, experienced, with a great attitude.
I knew that he was always there for me and had everything under control. He's really great at what he does.
I would highly recommend him.

You can get through this.
I know what you're going through. Not only have I helped many people through the divorce process, but I've been through it myself.
So I speak from first-hand experience when I say that navigating this process presents a laundry list of challenges: custody, visitation, child support, alimony and spousal support, assets, home equity, and more. A steady and competent hand is required to consider, evaluate, and manage all of the many factors that parties face when divorcing in Tennessee.
The truth is that most people approach the divorce process with preconceptions about custody, visitation, spousal and child support. And often, they come to me after they've attempted to handle these myriad issues themselves, at the point at which they realize that the issues are complicated and emotional. And they need and deserve help.
This is where my knowledge of divorce and family law in Tennessee, and my experience both professionally and personally, can help.
The key is to get the upfront work done, before the legal process drags on.
Control in the process is in your best interest. In fact, a lot can be accomplished through the help of your lawyer (and perhaps a good mediator) within the first 60 — 90 days after filing for divorce.
That being said, my role is to serve YOU — not a mediator or your spouse — in getting the efficient and effective results you deserve from the process.
No one expects to get divorced. It's a highly emotional experience. You need counsel who understands both the law and process, as well as what you're going through as a person.
I also help in deailng with post-divorce issues surrounding child and spousal support, visitation, and other matters in juvenile court as well as Chancery and Circuit courts across Middle Tennessee.
